Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a chronic, degenerative neurological disorder that affects both voluntary and involuntary movement. Tremor, rigidity and freezing in place, pain, muscle cramps, swallowing difficulty, balance problems and dementia are only some of the symptoms of Parkinson’s which can cause severe debilitation. There is no cure at present; however, various treatment options can offer Parkinson’s patients temporary relief from symptoms.

Avoiding payments over the phone or mail is good advice. It's also a good idea to go through their email regularly to see if they have been receiving a lot of deceptive mail offers. Many of these look real but aren't. You don't have to read through personal emails with friends and family but watch for anything that looks like it might be asking for money, or passowrd info. Surveys that promise a free iPad or free software can drop malicious code on their computer and give somebody else access to their computer where they can gain access to passwords and financial records. Look through Sent emails too to see if they have been corresponding with the same company over and over.
